How to Reuse a Water Bottle

Plastic bottles are something that most of us use every day as water containers. But there are many ways of giving a plastic bottle a second life. Don’t recycle — reuse them!  Not only is this an environmentally friendly practice, but kids will get a chance to create a cool and/or useful finished product.

Waxhaw Kid Coders

Waxhaw Kid Coders will be set up with activities to inspire your kids - to delight them while educating them at the same time.

Fancy Face Painting is Back!

Picture

We're excited to have Mallory Tartaglia back for Face Painting Fun!

We're excited to welcome B-Rad the Kids magician to the stage in Room B at 12:30 pm.

Don't miss this exciting family and kid-oriented performance.
B-Rad has been making kids of all ages laugh and giggle for over twenty years by providing his unique hilarious comedy skits through the wonders of magic.

Several audience members will be invited to participate, each one bringing their own style of silliness to the show.
B-Rad’s show brings the whole family together for a “funtastic” style of entertainment that will keep the crowd rolling!

Enjoy Exciting Educational Activities and Crafts

We have a wonderful lineup of activities and crafts for kids to enjoy. Please check back to see what we have in store for our 2019 Festival. In the meantime, enjoy photos of past activities so you can get an idea of just how much we offer for children of all ages.

We have confirmed that the City of Monroe's Engineering and Stormwater Department will be back this year with more fun and educational activities for kids. Here are a few pictures from last year's booth!
